According to Ten-X, the 121-room Holiday Inn Express in Dutchess County on Route 9 in Poughkeepsie will be auctioned on Wednesday, Nov. 20.
The company-owned property was originally put up for sale in 2020, but it was pulled due to the pandemic and market plunges.
Ten-X says the property is offered unencumbered by management and debt. A price or starting bid was not announced.
The company added that buyers will need to be able to relicense under the existing Holiday Inn Express brand for a new long-term franchise license agreement.
The hotel was completely renovated in 2016, including a breakfast area, gym, updated rooms, and new furniture.
A check of its website shows the hotel has a 4.5 rating out of 5 stars based on some 1,500 reviews.
It is located near the Nuvance Health Medical Center, IBM, the FDR Presidential Library, and the Walkway Over the Hudson.
It's also close to several educational institutions, including Vassar and Marist colleges.
To participate in the auction, interested buyers must register with Ten-X here.
